Commercial Broker, Stockport

Our client, a Stockport brokerage, is seeking a commercial broker who has a minimum of 2-3 years experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial account handling and a basic knowledge of a range of product lines including Commercial Combined/package, Motor Fleet, Management Liability, Professional Indemnity etc.   

Candidates who are working towards or are CERT CII qualified are preferred.

 The role is to provide an excellent account handling service to their commercial clients in respect of new and renewal business. You will manage a portfolio of clients independently, ensuring that the insurance programme mitigates client’s exposures and is negotiated at the best possible rates. 

Clients will range from small SME to medium size commercial clients. 

The role involves:

- effective and timely communication with clients.

- preparation for, and processing of, renewals in a timely manner.

-dealing  with new business enquiries effectively and ensure business is placed correctly from inception, in accordance with the client’s demands and needs. 

-checking the accuracy and issuing of documentation.

-maintenance of client files, records and systems.
